Amazing basketball video game. The ball bounces and moves very realistic. Fun and easy to play.
Perfect graphics, great announcing, wonderful roster updates, smoothest and most realistic game play(with the added all-star signature gestures).other than the online frame-rate issues the only thing that needs fixing is the Menu area- they are hard to navigate through in the beginning, but after you start playing this game day-in and day-out, you'll get a hang of it. Granted, I did not play this years(09) NBA Live, but I have played both 2k9 and 09 The Inside. I hope 2k sports would come out with a College/Football series but it seems as though EA has that monopolized. Before, I use to always play the Live series, but now, 2k is my new NBA king. Online was a bit jittery but everything else was great. (no worries EA, I am still getting NCAA FOOTBALL from you- where else would i get it from). If you can get this used from ebay or some sale, at this point, I would only pay 15 bucks, since the season is over. But if you can, wait for 2k10 -2k2010, because it should still remain king.
The game is excellent, very nice graphics, very entertaining. Shipping was very fast. Excellent overall.
This game is a lot of fun. I just think some players should be rated higher, and some should be rated lower.
I have played both 2k9 and Live 09, and it still leaves the Live series way back in the dust. The king of the court is back with NBA 2K9. The crowd in the game, and the audio of when you are at home court, really make the difference. And for the past year, it didn't just sit on it's throne doing what it did so well last year. It improved, from the visuals, to the improved gameplay mechanics, and the overall feel of the game, everything is better, but without losing the essence of what made the 2K9 series the chosen one. It really feels like you are in the stadium, so my friends and I are constantly jockin' for home court advantage. Watch out NBA fans, it's showtime.
